For the fourth consecutive year, Rudy’s BBQ changed the color of its plastic cup to Pink to raise funds for breast cancer charities in October. Funds are raised from guests who donate a dollar at Rudy’s BBQ. In return they receive a coupon for a free large drink to be used on their next visit. They announced that the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation was the 2015 recipient of their fundraising efforts.
We would like to thank Rudy’s BBQ for their $9,000 donation and its continued commitment to our community. Executive Director Patty Tiscareño presented Westside manager Pablo Molina and Eastside manager Charlie Juarez with our RGCF Donor award that showcases one of our wig head painted by a student participating in the FACCE program (Fine Arts Creating Cancer Enlightenment).
