For over two decades, the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation has served the needs of the El Paso cancer community.
Founded in 1996 and funded by the sale of the El Paso Cancer Treatment Center, our mission has remained the same: reducing the burden of cancer through programs that promote education, awareness, early detection, prevention, healthy living, quality of life, and financial and material support.
We are the largest foundation of its kind in El Paso, and our resources support both caregivers and patients facing EVERY type of cancer at EVERY age and at EVERY stage of their journeys.
Because cancer support is more than treatment.
The Rio Grande Cancer Foundation is dedicated to reducing the human and economic effects of cancer on the citizens of El Paso County through the financial support and development of effective programs for advocacy, education, early detection, and other services to cancer patients and their families.
The Rio Grande Cancer Foundation is the foremost center for enhancing the quality of life for those affected by cancer.
A truly homegrown organization, the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation exists solely for the benefit of the citizens of El Paso County. Our purpose is to aid and assist local cancer patients and other concerned community members in their search for information and support. Our funds remain in the El Paso area to serve El Pasoans.
As leaders in the local cancer care community, the Foundation strives to build support and collaboration through the convening and sharing of accurate, accessible cancer-related information.
Effective leadership is compassionate leadership. That’s why the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation team matches experience and expertise with personal understanding and an unwavering commitment to our mission. Our goal is to make a personal, positive impact in the lives of those we reach every day.
I love this group of Warrior Women. They were very welcoming & very supportive. The presentation was awesome! I've been using the breathing techniques every night.
The lady that helped my mother in law was wonerful and very helping.
RGCF is run by incredibly generous and kind people who genuinely care about supporting the community through free services such as prosthetics for women who have had mastectomies, wigs, educational seminars, and yoga classes for all levels.
They are great!!! They helped me with my first wig and also estella Casas helped me with me medical bills. God will keep blessing them so they can bless other people.
Volunteers are very helpful. Took my mom, who is a breast cancer survivor, and they helped her find a fitted bra. Thank you so much!!!
I went here for Jackie's fermented foods workshop. I had an amazing time learning and making my own fermented foods. Thank you for hosting this workshop. Hopefully more to come in the future.
