October brings to mind many colors: the warm earth tones of autumn, the black and orange of Halloween décor, and even the colors of our favorite football teams but the one color that is highlighted the most is pink. October is breast cancer awareness month and of all the colors associated with specific cancers, pink is perhaps the most identifiable. This month, the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation brings to you news and information about the cancer experience with breast cancer in our pink spotlight.
