Caregiving is a challenging role that can often be overlooked and
under-appreciated, but it is also one of the most important and
fulfilling roles that anyone can play. Today, the third Friday in
February, serves as National Caregivers Day and provides an opportunity
to recognize and thank those who care for someone who requires
assistance in performing activities of daily life. Whether it is an
adult caring for an aging parent, a parent caring for a child with
special needs, or a medical worker or a friend caring for an ill patient, caregivers
